Every Visit Begins with a Daycare Evaluation
Before your dog joins our program, they’ll be scheduled for a daycare evaluation, or a “Day of Play.” This allows our trained staff to observe your dog’s behavior in a calm, controlled environment and get to know how they interact with other dogs and people.
During this visit, we consider:
- Play style: Is your dog rough and rowdy, gentle and goofy, or a little bit shy?
- Energy level: Are they go-go-go or more of a chill companion?
- Social skills: Do they read canine cues well and respond appropriately?
- Comfort in new settings: Are they at ease or do they need time to warm up?
- Temperament: Overall, how do they respond to new dogs, routines, and environments?
Our goal is to ease your pup into our community, never forcing interactions, always rewarding good behavior, and watching closely for signs of stress or discomfort.
