Vaccinations
All dogs must have current vaccinations against Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. Vaccination against dog flu is strongly recommended but not required.
Group Play/Evaluation

At Waggles, we require that every guest be comfortable and enjoy being in a playgroup. Guests must also play at an appropriate strength/excitement level and be able to read and respond to social cues given by other dogs.

Before any dog is allowed into a playgroup, we perform a thorough evaluation to ensure the dog’s comfort, enjoyment, and appropriateness for group play. Evaluations are performed Monday through Friday (not on weekends).

If a dog appears uncomfortable or is otherwise not able to play in group, we will tell you and will discuss our evaluation findings with you. In many instances, dogs simply may prefer the quiet of home to the stimulation of group play (i.e., not all dogs love group play). If we are not a good fit for for your dog, then we will do our best to suggest other facilities and resources in the community that may be beneficial.

Dogs showing signs of aggression will not be allowed in the facility.

Daycare Times
Daycare guests are welcome to arrive as soon as we open (7:00am on weekdays, 9:00am on weekends). On weekdays, daycare playgroups begin at 8:00am and continue until 5:00pm with a 1-2 hour lunch/rest time in the middle of the day. Before 8:00am and after 5:00pm, guests will receive individual rest time. During peak periods, playtimes may be slightly altered as needed.

On weekdays, daycare guests must arrive before 10:00am to participate in the morning playgroup.

On weekends, daycare guests may arrive at any time, and playgroup times vary based on occupancy.

Boarding Check-In/Check-Out Times and Charges
Boarding guests may check-in or check-out between 9:00am-5:00pm any day of the week. On weekdays only, if there is a pressing need, and so long as we approve beforehand, guests may check-in or check-out slightly outside of those hours (as early at 7:00am or as late as 6:30pm).

Boarding guests are encouraged to arrive as early in the day as possible (between 9:00am-12:00pm) so they can acclimate to the facility and receive playtime before their first night. A play package is always included and charged on a guest’s incoming day, even if they arrive late in the day, because we hold their suite for the day and to encourage early arrival.

On their outgoing day, guests are welcome to stay for the entire day. Guests that depart before 10:00am will not be charged for a play package on that day, while guests that depart after 10:00am will be charged for a play package.

Boarding Deposit and Cancellation Policy
During non-peak times, there is no deposit required and no penalty for boarding cancellations. We do ask, however, that you give us as much notice as possible of any cancellation to help us plan our staffing.

During peak periods, we may require a deposit. Any deposit requirements will be communicated in connection with the reservation.

Boarding Meals and Medications
All boarding guests should bring their own food from home. For dry food, each meal should be separated into its own individual Ziploc bag with the guest’s name on it. Any dry food that is not pre-bagged will incur a bagging fee of $1.99 per meal. Wet food may be left in its original container.

We will combine up to 2 different ingredients for no charge (e.g., adding wet food to kibble). For each additional ingredient, there will be a charge of $1.99 per ingredient per meal.

If your dog is on prescription medications, please bring the medications in their original bottle with the name and dosage visible. Do not bag medications with meals. There is no charge to administer one medication. For additional medications, there will be a charge of $1.99 per medication for each administration.

Boarding Items
While we provide a raised bed, guests may bring bedding and blankets from home if they desire. We do not accept any bowls, utensils, measuring cups, or other kitchen items.

We do not accept any toys, hard chews, or bones, as they can become a choking hazard.

Senior and Medically Sensitive Dogs
While we wish we could provide for all dogs, we acknowledge there are instances where other providers are better suited to care for a pet. In particular, we find that dogs who are seniors or who have sensitive medical issues are better cared for by other community providers. Should we feel that another facility is better suited for your pet, we will tell you and will do our best to provide local recommendations.
Facility Tours
We are happy to give tours of our facility. To ensure we have appropriate staffing to give tours and to answer any questions, tours are by appointment only and must be made ahead of time. Please call for availability.
Re-Evaluations
Dogs’ comfort levels and behaviors change over time, and dogs are sensitive to their environment. To ensure your dog continues to feel we are its “home away from home,” we recommend attending regular daycare sessions.

If a dog has not visited us for more than 3 months, they will be re-evaluated prior to entering a playgroup.  In this circumstance, advanced scheduling may be required, so please call us ahead of time.

Extended Stays
To ensure their comfort, dogs that have not stayed with us previously or that have not stayed with us for a while may be required to attend daycare sessions before an extended stay will be approved. If this applies, we will let you know at the time of booking.
